Abstract

ABSTRACT

 Legal socialization held by KKNT R-03 students at Janabdara University on November 17 2024 at Padukuhan Tempel, Lumbungrejo, Tempel, Sleman. This activity is one of the superior work programs of the KKNT R-03 group, this activity aims to provide an understanding of the rights and obligations that individuals have in social, national and state life. Legal socialization can be carried out through various channels, such as formal education, mass media, direct counseling, as well as the increasingly developing use of information technology. With effective socialization, it is hoped that the public can understand and comply with laws and regulations, and avoid actions that violate the law. Apart from that, legal socialization also functions to reduce the gap between applicable law and people's understanding and behavior towards the law itself. Increasing legal awareness is very important in creating a more just, orderly and prosperous social order. Therefore, there needs to be collaboration between the government, legal institutions and the community in disseminating legal information that is accurate and easy to understand by all levels of society.
